Biography

PortraitCameron Meyer is a versatile actress working consistently in television, film and theatre. She began her career in New York where she won an award for her first professional acting job, a voice-over spot on the nationally syndicated ABC Radio Show FLASHBACK POP QUIZ. After moving to Los Angeles, she gained attention for her theatre work, appearing on the cover of Variety for her role in the world premiere play SAFE by Chuck Rose (creator of Crackle’s THE ART OF MORE). She received glowing reviews in the LA Times and other publications for her work in world premiere plays at the Odyssey, Skylight and Hayworth Theatres. On television she has appeared on several popular shows including THE MENTALIST, HART OF DIXIE and MONK. She is particularly proud of her work on CRIMINAL MINDS opposite Shemar Moore, and of her guest star role on the series finale of MELISSA & JOEY. She normally plays a lot of nice characters, but was thrilled to play a bad guy in her next project, the Lifetime feature A VERY MERRY TOY STORE where she appears in several scenes opposite Mario Lopez, Melissa Joan Hart and Billy Gardell. She is a fourth-generation native of Los Angeles and studies at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, where she also enjoys being an admissions officer.
